Multi-user management
ePoint supports multi-user control of the video wall, allowing the software to set permissions and authorizations. The administrator can define different levels of authority for different users in different areas of the system and video wall according to the user needs. Users will only be able to access areas where they have permission; going beyond their scope of access will result in a denied access, ensuring the safety of a multi-user system.
Flexible Multi-Group Technology (custom module)
To meet the demand of large number signal display on a single video wall, ePoint supports simultaneous control of multiple controller with Multi-Group Technology to link signals across different controllers, as well as a high resolution image display on a single wall through Multi-Group Technology for point-to-point display.
Separate and group control
Support for a control operation of the controller in a single client. Support for multi-station controller controls the operation on a single packet to the client.
Client and browser server operating modes
Using Client/Server and Browser/Server B/S software architecture, ePoint provides two methods of video wall control, allowing the user to select freely. The client interface can be installed in many different operating systems (eg: Windows 2000, XP, UNIX, etc.). For the browser interface, there is no need for installations; just enter the control IP address into your Internet Browser and you can acquire system controls (including: DLP Projectors, multi-screen controllers, and peripheral equipment).
Display Engine’s Control
ePoint can offer total control of the video wall, including DLP engine on/off switch, engine status display (including lamp and operational information, engine version) intelligent lamp switching, and engine parameter adjustment.
Equipment Management
ePoint can be used to define and deliver a centrally controlled management for all major video wall system equipment, such as projectors, multi-screen controller, RGB and Video matrix. Users using any third-party equipment, such as matrix, cameras and other system equipments will be required to provide equipment control protocol for total system control.
Log record management
A comprehensive record of the video wall operator and operation system history and error messages can be saved as a logged a txt file.
Total signal and video wall control
ePoint supports video, RGB, network, RGB, IP Video and other custom application window control via multi-screen controller. Control functions include: opening and closing of applications, video wall status and parameter adjustment, video wall video on/off switch, window properties and settings (edit, switch, group, delete), window scaling, roaming and overlap.
Signal review through Review module
With the Review module, ePoint software supports source display preview, displaying signal source to prepare in advance for rapid recall in important applications, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of signal control (available on controllers: eFrame 2000, eNet, eLan 1000).
Mode Management
TThe system can allow any window and / or processor control applications on the video wall to be selected, while defining them to be in a specific display mode where mode definitions are unlimited. ePoint supports mode editing, saving, modification, and delete management. Users can select commonly used modes according to their needs, allowing for rapid recall or adjustments.
Interface Management
Providing a personalized software user interface (UI), users can adjust the UI according to their own habit, allowing users to adjust the interface settings, including the showing or hiding of certain displays, interface list and positions, general settings color, extensions and other interface add-ons.
Intelligent Connection function
After the commissioning and defining system device connections and signal connections, the system can connected on its own through intelligent connection function to make complex system connections intuitive. The system is also capable of fuzzy signal search for convenient signal editing when facing a vast number of signals.
Wireless transmission support
Based on wireless networks, traditional display methods are relatively slow as networks speeds are slow and unsuited signal display over network. However, ePoint brings a new and fast network experience that allows for wireless content display over network to be possible.
Banner and subtitle display function (optional)
The multi-screen controller and software can be used to display a variety of scrolling messages with adjustable font, color, scrolling speeds (available on controllers: eFrame 2000, eNet, eLan 1000).
Secondary development interface
ePoint provides a complete application programming interface (API) allowing for video wall controls, SALI multi-screen controllers to be applied to other development environments, such as C#, giving developers more control freedom.
Android control and One-Key Projection
Once connected to the system, users can operate ePoint via Android devices to manage signals, including signal selection, opening and closing windows, window zooming, signal Review function (with Review module), and more. ePoint also supports the display of Android device content on the video wall via simple One-Key Projection.
Speed Network Module features
Using network, multiple operation system workstations (including, but not limited to Windows, UNIX, Linux) can be displayed as windows on the video wall with resolutions up to 1920x1080 with moving video signals refreshing at 15 frames per second.
With a new transmission protocol, multiple signals can be displayed from different workstations with different OS using different encoding formats. All signals can be scaled, roamed, overlaid, and tiled. Realization of network source and computer resources occupied are lowered.
Combined with the Hi-Pixel software module, an ultra-high resolution virtual screen can be generated, high resolution network signal display of points on the screen is solved.
Hi-Pixel Software Module features
Concept of virtual screen
Generally, a virtual screen created on a PC’s desktop display will have a low resolution. With the Hi-Pixel software module, a virtual monitor can be generated with a resolution several times larger than an ordinary monitor display resolution. This virtual monitor and the original monitor could work together to provide system services. In order to distinguish the virtual monitor from original monitor, we call the virtual monitor a virtual screen.
Function
Hi-Pixel software can generate a virtual display screen with adjustable-resolution on PC, breaking through previous low-resolution graphics output restrictions to achieve ultra-high resolution large screen display.
Features
Users can remotely operate the virtual display screen using the mouse and keyboard of the local computers, allowing the software interface to be more flexible and user-friendly. Virtual Screen resolution could be customized with the horizontal direction (1024 or 1400 x M) pixels and vertical direction (768 or 1050 x N) pixels, which M, N is a positive integer (according to the screen size proportions) and to achieve a high resolution graphics
Review Software Module features
Review software acquires a variety of network signals, video signals and RGB signal feedback display, without a loss of resolution in real-time condition, displaying the signal content on the video wall on any local workstation with Review software.
Review software module also supports source display preview, allowing for the display of the signal source to prepare in advance for rapid recall in important applications, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of signal control.
Stream Software Module
Function
Stream software module implements network digital stream media signal processing and display into the system without a decoder.
Technical Features
From IP streaming videos to IP cameras, video servers, digital VCR, signals connecting to the controller with Speed software module, Stream can display the signal with high-quality on the video wall without additional decoders. Video signal support up to 1080P@60Hz with real-time signals displayed >25 frames per second.
Using a new transmission protocol, multiple signals can be displayed from different workstations with different operation systems in different encoding formats. All signals can be scaled, roamed overlaid, supporting multiple windows displaying in one cube (Picture-in- Picture – PiP).
